Today at 1 pm I started preparing for my major surgery on Monday with the colostomy reversal. I had to take 4 laxative tablets followed by 4 (8) once glasses of clear liquid. At 3 pm, I start drinking 64 fluid ounces of Gatorade with more laxative. Only fluids, hard candy and chewing gum all day and after mid night nothing at all. Will probably have a major sugar headache as I am not much of a sweet eater or drinker. Monday, November 17, I will be in surgery at 9 am. Asking everyone to keep me in your prayers. Thanks, Bev
